Partition of Israel

I have heard about the Israel’s partition plan that President Obama and the Palestinians wanted to raise against Israeli’s.

At first, I really don’t understand the reason why they wanted to do it; all I knew is that this process isn’t a good idea since Israel is a promised land of God and I believe that anyone who will do something against its people will face judgment.

Well, I am so ignorant on this issue, since it wasn’t raised on the television (I dunno why).
