New BB 9320

New BB model has been released. OMG!

I am using an old bb9000 and now there's new model which is 9320. Errrr!

9320 has been released in INDIA, I just dunno when but it didnt reach Manila yet, hahaha!

Saw that this new 9320 is available in color BLUE - yay! But I am not sure yet since I just saw it in google, hihi.

Spotted in Indonesia and India - i've checked in TCP (tipidcp.com) and it is still not available, no one is selling such like this yet.
Price is around 400$ - so if we will convert it into peso its almost 16,800 pesos. OMG!

Facebook + Instagram = FACE.stagram

Yeah, you’ve read the title right!

You might say ‘WHAT?’ – but it’s true, instagram will soon to be belong with facebook since they will acquire it for the amount of $1billion.

True! As in $1billion – too much?! I guess not, just enough for a popular app like this. We know how people admire instagram.

What will happen once facebook starts to own instagram – as per Zuckerberg, they will not change the interface of this popular application – but they will just simply add features on it.

It finally arrived.

Instagram is now available and ready to use for android users like me. Wohoo!!

Very excited me already downloaded it to my tab and started to check it out, though I haven't tried to download pics on it yet (I don't want to be look so excited, hihi).

Have you ever tried accessing blogger website through opera mini?

What about through dolphin browser using your galaxy tab?

Argh. That is actually one of my frustrations, since those browsers were not working when I am trying to access blogger website until I found this blogger droid app from android market.

So if you are an android user and blogger addict, then this app is for you.

But remember that you should have net connection ofcourse to post your articles.

My First SGT

I got my tab last week, its a Samsung Galaxy Tab 7” – though it’s not a brand new one, I still got a 1 year warranty from a supplier.

Cool ayt? And if I may add, it works fine and I love it. Very handy so I can carry it anytime anywhere.

Plus, the supplier gave me an external memory that has 8gb capacity. Wow! I am so thankful since memory cards were still expensive nowadays.

Before I chose this galaxy tab I was first thinking of purchasing an iPad 2 16gb – but through major checking and too much forum reading, I grab a galaxy tab. One main reason is that its memory is expandable unlike iPad where in I will be stuck in 16 gigabytes of memory, which isn’t a good idea for an application lover like me, hehe. Unless I will get a 64gb one which is impossible since that was expensive and I can’t afford that. :)

I’ll post a picture of it soon and I am still thinking of a name I can give to it.

Unsuccessful Update

Sigh, I am still unsuccessful in updating my BB9000 to OS5.

I have done all possible solutions found on the net such as downloading the software itself, rooting it and removing the vendor file but to no success.

Argh!

Major failure indeed.

I'm so sad since I cant use some updated apps on my bb since its OS isn't updated too.

If in case someone visited this post of mine who knew how to do it, please (I'm begging you) help me. T.T

BB9000 - OS 4.6

I got my 2nd hand BB 9000, yahoo!

But sadly it was just using OS 4.6 (super old) and I wanted to update it to 5. Unfortunately I can’t, sniff sniff!

Last time I have tried too hard to do that process but I really can’t, I am not successful. As per a friend I need to do the same process but I need to wipe my bb first.

Will gonna try that tomorrow and let’s see if that will work.

iPod touch 2gb MC model (Jailbreak)

Jailbreaking my iPod touch became a worst nightmare for me (haha, exagge, but true).

I recently updated my itouch 2gb MC model from its 3.0 version to 4.2.1 without the complete knowledge that it will remove the installous and cydia (tools to install free apps).

After updating, I was shocked when i found that these apps were missing. It took so much time and effort for me to be able to bring them back.

Finally, last night, after trying greenpoison and redsnow with no luck, I found SNOWBREEZE v2.2.1 and hola, it worked!

seeeeeeee?? haha, so great!

What do you need:

1. Make sure you have an internet, pc and your ipod plus the cables
2. Get 10.1 version of iTunes
3. The version 4.2 (.ipsw) that you can use to restore your gadget
4. Snowbreeze v2.2.1
5. Lastly, wifi connection to get INSTALLOUS

Once you have it all, just follow the instruction below.

1. Connect your iPod to your pc and get it connected to iTunes, sync it.
2. Press shift and hit restore, look for the .ipsw file and restore.
3. Once you are done, open the snowbreeze app and follow the instruction :)

Simple and easy!

Go and start jailbreaking your iPod and enjoy!

MAC is LOVE

Oh my, I am starting to love mac (not the makeup thingy, haha) and because of that, I kept on browsing net to check for people selling their macbooks.

I’ve posted to one of by blogs here that I want a lappy, unfortunately I don’t have money to spend for it (as of the moment) haha, but now I’ve realized that I want a macbook and not just a simple lappy (ako na sosyal, hahaha).

Blackberry glitches continue for second day

Blackberry users across much of the globe experienced outages in key functions for a second straight day Tuesday, despite maker Research In Motion having said Monday that it had fixed the problem.

The glitches that impaired messaging, emails and Internet browsing in Europe, the Middle East and Africa spread to India and South America on Tuesday, Canada-based Research In Motion confirmed.

And so, this is now the reason why my contacts can’t send messages. Argh! Too bad.

Nothing is Impossible!

‘Tara na Shy, join ka na, kaya mo yun!’ – Paula exclaimed when she’s trying to convince me to join their 2^nd run which will be my 1^st ever run (no training, no jogging, no preparation ever).

At first, I was hesitate to join them (Paula, Andrew, Shun, Derek and Lea) because I am a BIG GIRL. I am heavy, ofcourse it will be difficult for me to run since I know that I will get a not so good result. Pero dahil ayaw ko namang magpahuli sa team namin at gusto ko yung lumalayas kame ng grupo talaga, at dahil nainggit ako sa run nila before, I said “SIGE”!

I can’t believe that I said yes to them. Oh no!

Nung una napaisip pa ko, ‘kaya ko ba talaga?’ pero sarili ko lang din naman yung sumagot ‘Shy! 5k lang yun, OA mo ha?!’

So okay na, 5k, fine, AJA nalang!

The night before we fully decided to register on our 5k Yamaha run, they changed their minds. Ayaw na nila ng 5k, 10k na lang daw.

Huh!? 10k?!

Can’t be!!!

I really can’t go and join them, baka mahimatay ako sa daan, dyahe diba?

So I said, no.

Paula, again tried her best to convince me. Shun helped her too and even Boss Drew.

‘Kaya mo yun!’

‘Malapit lang yun, di naman yun puro takbo eh, pwede ka namang lumakad.’

‘Sayang kasi Shy, same price lang naman tapos achievement pa yun’

So on and on and on…

I can’t decide, I wanted to join pero di ko kaya ang 10k! My golly!!!

So before pa maubos ang convincing power ni Pau, I said YES again. Bahala na si batman, kaya ko yun, may ambulance naman diba?

Hahaha!

So a week before the much awaited 10k run challenge, we’ve plan to jog, pero di kaya ng schedule so nauwi kames a ‘stairs’.

Oh yes, stairs sa office, sa fire exit. Cool!

In short, may challenge naman akong dinaanan before ang 10k run, pero kahit na, I am still nervous no!

July 3 came. Medyo kabado pa ko, but my sister was there to support me, to take some pics and wait for me sa finish line =)

Picture picture muna, kelangan ng ebidensya syempre na tatakbo, tumatakbo at tatakbo kame. Whew!

 

Gun start!

From the start line, people on my front started to run, some started to walk and ako, tulala, naglakad, jog kunwari. Tapos yung mga kasama ko, unti unti na silang nawawala.

Argh!

Where are they?

So fine, I am old, old enough to know what to do even if I really don’t know the things that might happen during this 10k run.

Run. Walk.

Paulit-ulit lang yung ginagawa ko, mas matagal pa nga yung walk kesa run/jog.

I saw some runners who were running so fast. I am totally amazed! I told myself, ‘so here you are, aatras ka pa ba? Go, kaya mo yan!’

Well, one thing I’ve realized that day is that ‘mahirap pala kausap ang sarili’ hehehe.

On my first kilometer, I felt some pain on my tummy. Sa may bandang tagiliran, gusto ko na tuloy sumuko, uuwi nlang ako, pero sayang naman diba, 9k na lang eh!

So I run again even if its kinda painful, I just continue running and just ignore the pain.

When I reached the 3k banner, I felt so proud.

Then I saw an ambulance, during that time I am having a hard time to breathe. My heart is beating so fast and it’s quite painful. Again, I have tried to ignore the pain. But honestly, I really wanted to go to that ambulance and ask the driver to drive me home so I can rest.

Fear is starting to cover me, I just pray. I asked God to guide me all the way, and then a gospel song played on my iPod.

The lyrics said: ‘Through You, I can do anything, I can do all things, cause it’s You who gave me strength, NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE…’

Oh yes, nothing is impossible with God.

Then after ilang minutes lang nakita ko na yung banner ng Yamaha showing the ‘9k’ symbol.

Wow!

Nasa 9^th km na ko? Amazing!

Sa sobrang galak, napasigaw pala ko, well not exactly sigaw pero napalakas lang yung voice ko.

Sabe ko, ‘Yes! Isa na lang!’

Sakto naman na may dumaan sa gilid ko, so nung nasa front na sya, narinig nya pala ko, lumingon sya and he smiled, ayun, smile na lang din ako. Pero grabe, nakakahiya pala.

Hahaha!

Then ilang minutes lang na’reach ko na ang pinaka’hanap-hanap at pinananabikan kong ‘FINISH LINE’.

My sister was there, happily waiting for me, kahit pa inisip nyang baka sakay na raw ako ng ambulansya.

Hahaha!

I was able to finish this 10k run in just 1hour and 48min. Not bad for a first timer huh? =)

Truly, nothing is impossible when you trust God and ofcourse yourself too!
